A bit about me
We all have defining moments in life. The ones that shape who you are and how you see the world. For me, I’ve always inherently felt like I’m wired to persevere, no matter what. This drive to survive and thrive began before I was born—holding on to life while my mom received daily doses of dialysis as she awaited a kidney transplant. I was born at just two pounds—too small for doll clothes, yet ready to play big in life.
When I was seven, I wrote and self-published a book about a marine biologist, simply because I loved to write and tell stories. Somehow, I convinced my entire first-grade class to indulge in a ‘book launch’ together.
When I was 13, I decided I was destined to live in New York City, despite growing up between rural fruit orchards and the suburbs of Oregon. When I was 18, I made the move.
Along this magical journey, I’ve lived in Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands. I’ve gotten married in India. Adopted a dog in Amsterdam. Poured my heart into the world of wellness—alongside beauty, food, fashion, tech, animal welfare, and trends. I’ve hand-plucked organic and Biodynamic roses and calendula flowers for beauty products. Mulched piles of compost. Led dozens of press events and earned coverage in the thousands. Rebranded six brands. Launched high-converting websites and e-commerce experiences. Run PR, creative, content marketing, social media, and SEO. Led integrated global marketing and communications for multiple brands. Incubated and launched big brand campaigns. Built sales and training programs. Driven sales and profits. Grown teams and brands. Coached and championed others. Biked from meeting to meeting. Worked relentlessly hard. And celebrated the learnings, the big wins, and the teamwork along the way.
It’s been an effervescent journey, and I’m just getting started. Because there’s so much more to create and change in the world. Why not make the world beautiful, together?
